God's Gift (Woman)
The cover image of Freddie Floyd Jr.’s latest release, God’s Gift (Woman), (Covenant Books) has an interesting collage of character traits presented to praise women: radiant, visionary, wondrous, inventive, dynamic, creative, adventurous, daring, artistic, ingenious, intrepid. It is quite a preface for what is to come.
It has always been Floyd’s desire to reach the masses with the message that God is there to lead them; but also that they must maintain their own balance in life. In doing so, he was able to turn his own life around and told his story first in his debut book, You Are Designed to Be Successful (Covenant Books). Now, Floyd is extending that message in his just-released follow-up work God’s Gift (Woman).
For all those who have struggled and are still struggling with who they are, if you have ever wondered why things are not going right in your life and you find yourself comparing your life to others, this is the book for you,” says Floyd. “It is never too late to make a change and return back to God.”
THE INESTIMABLE VALUE OF WOMANHOOD
In God’s Gift (Woman), Floyd helps readers understand the value that God placed on women, and why it’s so important for women in some instances to “unlearn” many of the things that society has shown them regarding their purpose and why they need to establish a healthy relationship with the Creator.
Floyd’s points are made with ample references to the Bible. “My vision is to take you back to God’s Word and show you why you must have self-worth, know your value, be respected and motivate yourself to get your groove back,” writes Floyd.
“When you understand who you are,” he continues, “the spirit that you carry will know that you are in the plans of God, and you are going according to the purpose, intent and will of the Father. You must understand his meaning in your life, for you are a woman of strength.”
Once again, the author has written a short, straightforward guidebook to help readers looking to connect with God and hoping to reap the abundance that is available through that practice.
Floyd contends that it is all about how women believe and treat themselves, which then sets the standard for how others will treat them. And this will lead to gratifying relationships which require mutual respect. As he says with wisdom, “without respect, we are lost. We are all different, and if someone cannot value your differences, they do not deserve a front-row seat in your life.”
