Join us today on Facebook Live at 1:00 EST when we chat with Yamina Koichu Salomon about her book, Life Is How You Tell Your Story: A Mother’s Quest to Heal Her Son, an inspiring true story of love, loyalty and letting nothing sway you from your path.

When Yamina’s son, Arieldavid, was diagnosed pre-birth with a life-threatening condition later identified as the exceedingly rare Haddad Syndrome, her doctor’s first response was to terminate the pregnancy. Appalled, Yamina instead made a promise to her unborn child to “do everything in my power to help you heal and have a happy, full life!” It would prove to be challenging.

From birth, Arieldavid underwent multiple operations,  hospitalizations and even teetered on the brink of death many times. It was clear that traditional medicine was not going to be the be-all and end-all solution. She began an alternative journey that facilitated the creation of her own game plan to achieve holistic health and wellness, the “Storia Map.” The result? A better quality of life, not only for Arieldavid but for Yamina. In Life Is How You Tell Your Story, Yamina outlines her method in detail so readers can implement it themselves. (Read our full review here.)

Yamina’s story brings hope to parents around the world who are raising children with rare and difficult-to-treat disorders. Learn about a fascinating alternative wellness method in our chat with the author.
