BookTrib: If you were on death row, what would be your last read? And why?
Sheila Sobel: If I were to ever find myself on death row, I would be reading the galleys for the book I had written while serving out my time, Life after Death.
All proceeds would of course be donated to the Innocence Project to assist in the defense of the wrongly convicted.
BT: If you were going to kill off your protagonist what method would you use? And why?
SS: If I were to kill off my protagonist, my new protagonist would be the instrument of her death.
Could be the start of an interesting series!
BT: What is the all-time best thriller you have ever read? And why?
SS: The thriller that made me keep the lights on at night was The Poet by Michael Connelly.
As chilling today as it was twenty years ago when the book was released.
