Searching for Zen by Albert T. Franklin

In Searching for Zen, author Albert T. Franklin weaves an exhilarating tale that seamlessly melds elements of fantasy and science fiction into an epic narrative of self-discovery, love and the enduring power of the human spirit. From its humble beginnings on Earth to the vast expanses of the cosmos, this book takes readers on a gripping adventure that will keep them turning pages long into the night.

At the heart of the story is Zen, a seemingly ordinary boy thrust into an extraordinary destiny. Franklin expertly captures Zen’s journey of self-discovery, as he grapples with doubt, loneliness and the weight of his divine purpose. From the very first line, readers will find themselves drawn into Zen’s world, rooting for him as he navigates the challenges that come with his newfound power.

Bringing Light to Humanity

One of the most compelling aspects of Searching for Zen is its cast of characters. From Zen’s motley collection of friends to the beings he encounters in the spirit realm, each character is vividly drawn and imbued with their own unique personality. As Zen builds a family from these disparate individuals, readers will find themselves invested in their fates, cheering them on as they face danger and adversity together.

However, the true heart of the story lies in its exploration of love and friendship. As Zen learns to trust others and open himself up to the possibility of love, he discovers that these connections are the true source of his strength. Franklin handles these themes with grace and sensitivity, crafting tender moments of connection that will resonate with readers long after they finish the book.

Of course, no epic tale would be complete without its fair share of action and adventure, and Searching for Zen delivers on this front in spades. From pulse-pounding battles to breathtaking journeys through the cosmos, Franklin’s vivid prose brings each scene to life with an intensity that will leave readers on the edge of their seats.

As Zen’s power grows, so too do the challenges he faces. The trials he encounters amplify in intensity, testing not only his physical abilities but also his resolve and character. Franklin skillfully weaves together moments of triumph and moments of despair, creating a narrative that is as emotionally resonant as it is thrilling. As Zen struggles to fulfill his purpose, he must confront the darker aspects of humanity and grapple with the consequences of his actions.

A Triumph of Storytelling

Through his journey, Zen learns that love, friendship, and divine destiny all come with a heavy price, but they also offer the promise of redemption and renewal. As he faces down his adversaries, both human and otherworldly, he discovers a strength within himself that he never knew existed. Searching for Zen is a triumph of storytelling. With its compelling characters, gripping plot, and thought-provoking themes, it is a book that will stay with readers long after they turn the final page. Whether you’re a fan of fantasy, science fiction, or simply a good old-fashioned adventure, this is a book that deserves a place on your shelf.

Albert T. Franklin graduated from high school early and traveled as much of the world as he could until he turned thirty and realized he wanted to try a more adult lifestyle. He started a company with a borrowed van and got a 2,500 credit card limit — and now that company makes a million plus a year.

He got married in 2009 and his wife has been a great partner in helping him build everything. Writing has always been something he wanted to do, and know that he’s turned fifty, he’s decided it is the time to go for it!

His wife and him love to travel and go to good restaurants, but what they love most is simply trying to enjoy each moment as it happens.
