After the war, Yanara and her family thought they could all finally have a respite from danger. All hope is dashed, however, when they receive three mysterious guests — who all appear out of thin air. George, Silvia and Hyrsa introduce themselves, but it isn’t their names that Yanara is shocked by. It’s their identities and where — and when — they come from.
It seems that the fragile peace that the Yandar people found is not long for this galaxy. The future is riddled with violence and these desperate souls have traveled backward in time to warn Yanara. Not only that, but the two girls are desperate to save their parents — people that Yanara may very well know and love dearly.
The next generations take a leading role in this story, with the narrative focusing on Silvia and Hyrsa’s arduous journey back in time. Wolfpack the Pathfinder, Yanara’s son, also steps into the spotlight as he aids the two in trying to defend the Yandar from the dangerous K’tul, trying to ensure the possibility of his family’s future safety before it’s too late.
From Wizards to Wormholes
Andri Elia fills Worldmaker of Yand-Eltanin with action and intrigue and takes the story in a new direction from its prequels, this time, with the focus on Silvia. From red herrings and plot twists to a cinematic final showdown, the author ensures that readers will be engaged in the story and rooting for its heroes. And with Yanara’s huge family, there’s a lot of characters to root for — and to be worried about!
