The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing women’s constitutional right to vote. But how far have we really come?
The answer, according to law professor and constitutional law expert Julie C. Suk, is “so close and yet so very far.” In partnership with the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellows Association and Vote Like a Mother, BookTrib had the pleasure of hosting the book launch of Suk’s We the Women: The Unstoppable Mothers of the Equal Rights Amendment.
