It’s not enough to be talented at acting or singing or dancing. These days, celebrities  adding a new skill to their repertoire: writing. Celebriity books offer another way into the lives of the famous and the infamous, giving us a better understanding of where they came from and how fame affects them, personally.

This year, there are some awesome new celebrity reads on the horizon, including tell-all memoirs, creative guides, novels and more. Whether it’s memoir, novel or humor, we love when our favorite stars spill the tea and put out a new book. Here are 15 new releases by celebrity authors we can’t wait to get our hands on:

The outspoken actress has never been afraid to speak her mind, which is why we’re so ready for her honest and poignant memoir, out January 30th.

The co-founder of the Roots has a resume a mile long as a drummer, a DJ, a writer, a designer and more. His latest book is a guide to living your best creative life, out April 24th.

True Stories from an Unreliable Eyewitness, Christine Lahti

Actress and director Lahti has been working in movies and television for years. Her memoir, coming April 3rd, is a feminist-driven essay collection about her life.

Single State of Mind, Andi Dorfman

We’re clearly jazzed about this book – we picked it for our perfect 2018 library! The star of The Bachelorette returns with another candid and honest look at her dating life.

Unmasked, Andrew Lloyd Webber

 The icon of musical theater is baring it all in his new memoir, out March 6th.

The President is Missing, Bill Clinton & James Patterson

You heard it right – former president Clinton and powerhouse author Patterson are teaming up for this fast-paced political thriller, to be published June 4th.

Any Man, Amber Tamblyn

There’s no cover yet for Tamblyn’s debut (out July 3rd), but you can trust that we’ll be first in line for the first novel by the actress, poet, and outspoken proponent of women’s rights.

Well, That Escalated Quickly, Franchesca Ramsey

Calling herself an ‘accidental activist,’ Ramsey, star of MTV’s Decoded, discusses the events that brought her to this point and what it means to have those tough conversations in her new essay collection, out May 22nd.

I’ll Never Change my Name, Valentin Chmerkovskiy

Pretty Mess, Erika Jayne
