Read More in 2018: 40 New Books to Help You Build the Perfect Library

in Potpourri by

Books have been making a comeback! Each year, more people in the public eye are putting down their phones and picking up a book— and they are encouraging the rest of us to do the same. In 2015, Mark Zuckerberg’s New Year’s resolution was to read a book every other week; by the end of the year, he had read 26. In 2017, Reese Witherspoon launched a book club that now has over 27,000 followers on Facebook alone. Oprah Winfrey, the Queen of Talk and of Books has been encouraging people to pick up books and read for over two decades through Oprah’s Book Club.

Reading more is something we should all pledge to do not just for ourselves, but because a literate society is one that thrives. BookTrib is not only a place where “readers meet writers,” but also a place where we keep books alive through reviews, interviews and suggested reads. We want to help everyone read more in 2018, so we are expanding our weekly new releases to include more books and previews to help you build the perfect library this year! This week, we selected 40 memoirs, cookbooks, thrillers and fiction new reads, each one a great addition to add your reading list!
