Though at times decisions the friends make are a bit far fetched, the story is addicting, with realistically flawed characters and a heart-pounding mystery.
In this wonderfully suspenseful crime novel, Drake touches on domestic violence, relationships and marriage; food for thought when it comes to honesty and privacy amongst friends. Just Between Us: A Novel is a fun, quick, read when you need a break from your own rat race!
