BookTrib.com recently added Writer’s Bone as a new feature. Daniel Ford and Sean Tuohy have been bringing us podcasts of discussions they have with writers about the craft of writing and what motivates them to tell a good story. We hope you enjoy this series as much as we do.
In Episode 227 of Writer’s Bone, Daniel Ford sits down with Vanessa Grigoriadis to talk about her newest novel, Blurred Lines: Rethinking Sex, Power, and Consent on Campus. Vanessa shares insight on what she discovered when she investigated the sexual revolution on college campuses across the United States. She also discusses the current state of journalism we face, as she is a contributing editor at The New York Times Magazine and Vanity Fair.
Blurred Lines is Vanessa’s first novel that she describes as a “sweeping epic drawing on reporting with students, parents, and university administrators from across the country.” She writes long-form articles on pop culture, youth movements, and many other topics that require investigatory tools.
