The book that changed your life:
The book that changed my life was actually a very short story, written in crayon I think, about a trip to Disneyland. It was written by a first-grade classmate of mine, and as she read it out loud in Mrs. Wall’s homeroom in Sutton Elementary School, I thought, for the first time, “I can do that.” I’ve been writing every since.
Your favorite literary character:
Larry Darrell in A Razor’s Edge. Reading his philosophy was the first time it occurred to me that you don’t get paid back for good deeds but should do them anyway. I have what I believe is an autographed copy of an early edition of the book, though I’ve never had it authenticated. Finding out it is a fake signature would make me too sad.
Currently working on:
Ramping up the marketing machine for The Ghost Manuscript, which drops on April 2, 2019, and starting book two in the Carys Jones series, which picks up where The Ghost Manuscript ends.
