BOOKS:

Your biggest literary influences:

Dr. Seuss was my favorite as a child. I loved how the words just flowed together with the rhyming, so when I decided to write Frankie the Ferret, it was just natural that this would be the pattern I would choose to follow.

Last book read:

Whispers by Lisa Jackson; thrillers are my favorite go-to books.

The book that changed your life:

All of the Dr. Seuss books. Dr. Seuss was an amazing author who not only entertained younger children with his books but encouraged them to learn to read and to enjoy reading, which enriches their lives and stimulates their minds.

Your favorite literary character:

Peter Rabbit was another favorite. Being an animal lover, this series of books was entertaining; my children just enjoyed them.  I still have those books, which I share with my grandchildren now.

Currently working on:

A book about unicorns to be dedicated to my granddaughter, who just loves them.

Words to live by:

Always be kind to others; you may never know what is happening in their lives, so please do not judge them.

Advice for aspiring authors:

If your dream is to write a book, never give up; dreams do come true.
