Until a stranger arrived seeking aid, hurtling them back into war with the ancient enemy. This time, they seek durable peace, bringing the fight to the K’tul’s doorstep.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
The author is an award-winning poet, novelist, and Ph.D. Scientist. She immigrated to the US as a teenager, due to war in her native country and is a naturalized US citizen. Her scientific work yielded many patented inventions of new composite materials aimed at light-weighting vehicles. She retired early from her Research Science job after the loss of her husband to cancer, moved to Florida, and switched careers, indulging her passion in writing sci-fi/fantasy. She has penned four novels in the Worldmaker of Yand Universe, and a book of short stories. She lives in Jacksonville, on the ocean, with her son Luke and their four cats, and continues to write.

CASTING:
My three selections: Silvia, a teenage Yandar silverblood worldmaker - Bella Ramsey. Mandolen, a Yandar evenblood warrior, wife, grandmother - Danai Gurira. George, a Phe'laki warrior - Chris Pratt or Pedro Pascal or Sam Worthington. I would prefer brand-new actors, however, especially the teens.
PRIMARY VENUES/LOCATIONS WITHIN THE BOOK:
In the Ursa Minor constellation: At the Polaris B star system, the story unfolds on the planet Turunc and its moon Tuncay. On Turunc is the Cavern of Whispers, a K’tul stasis facility. On Tuncay are the settlements Valley of Highwings, Comi Keys, and New Chanshal, and the locales of Golden Cove, Cave of Stars, and its Topside Reef. At the Yildun star system, the story continues on the planet Yand at the Worldmaker Palace in the capital city of Dragonslair. In the Draco constellation: At the Eltanin star system, the future part of the story plays out on the planet Phe’lak and its moon Sentinel 1. On Phe’lak at the city of Paria (the inn and the docks) and the nearby K’tul base Crater I. Also, aboard the K’tul spaceship Hellbound, at the K’jen Temple in Paria, and the Phe’laki Heights. On Sentinel 1, at the Consort’s Palace and the Orange Groves.
