Lauren Wright

Lauren A. Wright, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in Politics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, where she teaches courses on The American Presidency and Executive Power, Women and Politics, and Political Communication. Dr. Wright is the author of 'On Behalf of the President' (Praeger, 2016) and is a contributor to The Hill and Huffington Post. Her work has been featured in The Washington Post, USA Today, US News and World Report, The San Francisco Chronicle, and PARADE Magazine. She is a frequent guest political analyst and has appeared on C-SPAN, MSNBC, and Fox News. Wright's research interests include presidential politics, public opinion, and public and private sector communications strategy. She currently serves as Director of Investor Relations at NV5 Global, Inc. (Nasdaq: NVEE), an infrastructure engineering firm with 100 locations worldwide, and is a board member of The White House Transition Project. Wright received a Ph.D. in Government from Georgetown University in 2014. Before that, she was a Field Representative for Meg Whitman's campaign for governor of California. Wright completed her undergraduate work at Wake Forest University in 2010.
