Emily LaSita

Emily works closely with the Editorial Team, reviewing books and developing social media content. She studied interior design and art history at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and graduated with her BA in creative writing and English, with a minor in art, from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Before joining the team, Emily interned for a literary agency specializing in mystery, historical and women’s fiction, and served as copyeditor, writer, and designer for The Teller Magazine. She is a member of the International English Honor Society, and her poetry and prose can be read in select literary journals. In her spare time, Emily enjoys bike-riding, caring for her grandpa-dog, and reading (of course!) Her favorite genre is young adult, and she enjoys thrillers, mystery, and speculative fiction. She loves working with authors and is discovering new ways to help, which she finds to be the most rewarding aspect of her job.
