Serena Williams announced on Twitter the release of The Adventures of Qai Qai, an illustrated book that aims to show young readers the power to believe in themselves and in their best friend.

The 2022 Riyadh International Book Fair expanded to welcome many more international publishing houses and distributors to exhibit their works for the first time in Riyadh, including publishers from the United Kingdom and China! Whoohoo!

U2 frontman Bono will set off on a 14-city tour behind Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, which is scheduled for publication on November 1 by Knopf. A.

AWARDS AND ACCOLADES WORTHY OF NOTE

The National Book Foundation has announced the 2022 National Book Award finalists. The winner will be announced during an awards ceremony held on November 16 in New York City. Some of the standout finalists include: Sabaa Tahir, Sarah Thankam Mathews, Imani Perry, Sonora Reyes and Lisa Yee. Check out the entire list of finalists here.

Tennis star Naomi Osaka will make her publishing debut with a children’s book called The Way Champs Play this winter, HarperCollins announced.

News came from “Down Under” that the son of Australian icon Steve Irwin, Robert Irwin, released a new book in honour of his father’s passion, titled Robert Irwin’s Australia, and it’s selling out fast.

Perfect for fall, it’s reported that historians at Scottish and American universities have come together to produce a knitting patterns book inspired by University of Glasgow’s architecture. The book is titled Knitting the University of Glasgow. The book will be available at Glasgow University’s gift shop, but we feel they need to broaden their market because … Hello? There are knitters across the world who are always actively searching for gorgeous patterns!
