When long time author Anna Gomez, previously published under the name Christine Brae, and actor Kristoffer Polaha, who you may have just seen in Wonder Woman 1984, set up a Zoom call to discuss film scripts and Gomez’s books, neither one of them had any clue it would lead to an incredible writing partnership. Their novel, Moments Like This, is a testament to the success of their working relationship. But they aren’t just a great writing team. Gomez and Polaha have become good friends over the course of the collaboration, which is ongoing as this novel is the first in a five-part series called From Kona With Love. Their mutual respect and admiration for one another were evident in this interview as they discussed writing Moments Like This, their lead characters, Andie and Warren, and their plans for the series.
