Victor Pace is a family medicine physician with over 25 years of providing quality medical care. He graduated from Saint John Vianney High School in Kirkwood, Missouri. Dr. Pace then received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Saint Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. After conducting molecular genetic research at Washington University in Saint Louis, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine. He then completed his family medicine residency at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Pace has been on the Greene County Medical Society (GCMS) Editorial Committee in Missouri since 2005 and served as the Co-Editor of GCMS Journal from 2017 through 2020. After working in the private sector as a family physician since his residency, he has provided medical care solely to our military Veterans since 2016. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In his free time, Dr. Pace enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, writing, philosophy, physical fitness, as well as maintaining and promoting the balance of mind, body, and soul.

The book that changed your life:

No one book changed my life, however several books have had significant influences on me. The Holy Bible is my moral compass. Catcher in the Rye is the first book I can recall that made me so eager to read the next page. House of God reminded me that I was human too. 

Your favorite literary character:

John Rain, aka Junichi Fujiwara, as he took me on an intriguing adventure around the globe.

Advice for aspiring authors:

Set aside protected time for your writing, then simply start writing. Let your creative mind flow into words. Just write. You can correct and revise your words once they are written down.
