Through the combination of Christie’s skills on the soccer field and Dr. Keane’s depth on knowledge in the field of psychology, they have created a guidebook for parents to navigate youth sports and transform their kids’ experience playing the game into life-long skills. Not every child will end up playing on a collegiate or even a professional level, but there is a lot to be gained from playing sports and their book can help parents and coaches get the most out of the game.
