Bethany Mota started vlogging in 2009 and it wasn’t long before her fanbase radically grew, thanks to her upbeat and positive style. Not only did she share fashion ideas, makeup tips and product hauls, but she also began letting fans into her world, exposing her own issues with bullying and anxiety, showing fans her daily routines, and generally motavating her audience.

Soon she became one of the most popular Youtube vloggers ever, which opened up even more opportunities. Her love of fashion led her to partner with some major brands, as well as launching her own collection with Aeropostale that lasted from 2013-2016 and included clothes, jewelry, perfume and more.

But Bethany Mota wasn’t done. She released a single along with Mike Thompson in 2014 called “Need You Right Now,” she appeared on Season 19 of Dancing With the Stars, and she embarked on a “Motavatour,” where she traveled the U.S. meeting her fans. Not bad for someone who started vlogging from her bedroom when she was still in her teens!
