Even at the tender age of 16 I was a romance novel aficionado, and a more mature love story seemed like a natural progression. On a whim I picked up one of the brightly colored covers that so often grace chick lit novels and my life as a reader changed forever. The mythological creatures who immigrated with our ancestors still walk among us, and boy, are they pissed. Maybe this will calm them down. Finally, there’s news about Starz’s highly anticipated TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s much-loved modern-day, epic mythology, American Gods. After the announcement that the show was being developed by Gaiman and television veterans Bryan Fuller and Michael Green in 2014, fans have been waiting with bated breath for any information about the project.
