Childhood lives! The Anne of Green Gables reboot, Anne with an E, is officially on Netflix and I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about anything in my entire life. The show, called Anne With an E, premiered on May 12, and follows the first Anne Shirley book, written by Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. Anne is originally a Canadian TV show on CBC and partially filmed on Prince Edward Island, where the iconic story takes place. Netflix has distributed the series worldwide.
