Catherine “Cate” Tibbs, Brooke Ridley and Amber Anderson have been best friends since they were awkward thirteen-year-olds. They have formed a close bond with each other and named themselves “The Beach Babes.” They are about to celebrate their 40th birthdays.
They haven’t been able to get together for some time, so Cate arranges a getaway for them. She rents a house along the Gulf Coast of Florida for a long weekend. She hopes it will give them the opportunity to celebrate their milestone birthdays and to re-ignite their friendship. Together, the three women support one another as they each face a crisis in her life, proving once again the strength of women’s friendships.
