BOOKS:

A Shepherd of Wolves (2021)

Your biggest literary influences:

At this point, there are too many to name. It ranges from Euripides to Toni Morrison. Reading Raymond Carver, however, was the big bang for me becoming a writer, so he’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Last book read:

Escape from Freedom by Erich Fromm

The book that changed your life

Consciously, The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Subconsciously (guessing here), The Bible. The first book made me rethink the type of material I wanted to write, and the latter is just always hanging around.

Your favorite literary character:

Ignatius J. Reilly from A Confederacy of Dunces.

Currently working on:

Myself. I’m actually just trying to get through some short stories that have been in my head for a while and planning out the next novel.

Words to live by:

 Delapsus resurgam
