J.K. Rowling and Jane Austen

Last book read:

Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan

The book that changed your life:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. I read the series as an adult, but I felt like a kid as I entered the wizarding world. Everyone craves to make their mark, and this book series allowed me to join Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville in changing the course of history.

Your favorite literary character:

Professor Snape. Out of all heroes, Severus is the most interesting. He isn’t good, be he ultimately isn’t bad. His finest quality is his loyal love to Lily.

Currently working on:

Another Upmarket Fiction book with Layne James

Words to live by:

Dream big.

Advice to new and aspiring authors:

Have a plan. But give yourself grace to veer off from said plan when needed.
