Angela is a San Francisco Bay Area native.
She studied journalism at Northwestern University as a Cherub scholar. She received her B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Sonoma State University.
Her nonfiction articles on real estate, lending and finance can be found online at SFGate.com. Her short stories, essays and poetry are published in a number of magazines, newspapers and anthologies, including The Dollar Stretcher, Foliate Oak , Kenwood Press, The Phoenix, Potpourri, The Sun, The Writer and Women’s Voices.
When she is not writing, she is either painting, reading, running or spending time with her family and friends.

The book that changed your life:
Emily Climbs by L.M. Montgomery was the first book I read in which a woman struggled to find her way as a writer living in a closed-minded community with an unsupportive family.
Your favorite literary character:
Emily Bryd Starr (Emily Climbs) is my literary heroine because she defied social conventions, family challenges, and self-doubt to successfully pursue her literary dreams.
Currently working on:
Friends First, an unlikely relationship between a Gulf War amputee veteran suffering from PTSD and an overweight alcoholic woman, which will be published in 2020 by The Wild Rose Press.
