Amid the chaos that is unfolding, a mystical orb appears in the Sahara Desert. A rare breed of humanoid creatures that have laid dormant since the Permian Era comes to the fore. It is then that we are introduced to three incredibly different families from opposite ends of the earth. REVIEWS:

Reviewed by Essien Asian for Readers' Favorite Awal-Lantis:

Ebrahim Navsa takes excerpts from some of the most famous myths of our time and uses them to spin a truly incredible tale. Using the collapse of the global system as a theme is a masterstroke. With global warming and deforestation front burner topics today, there is no better way of awakening the millions of young minds on the planet to the dangers that lie ahead if drastic action is not taken quickly. The characters in the book are well defined as Navsa explains the details of their predicament to perfection. Awal-Lantis is one for all ages, a blend of science and fantasy that only a true genre aficionado will appreciate. This book is as simple as it is impressive. An enthralling piece of work.
