ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Wendy Sand Eckel is the author of the award-winning Rosalie Hart Mystery Series. She studied criminology at Miami University and earned a Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University. Her favorite writing moment is when a relatively minor character takes center stage and reshapes the story.
A trained life coach who loves to mentor new authors, she writes the advice column for the Maryland Writers’ Association newsletter. Her next workshop will be in October at the MWA annual conference, where she will present a new session, "Understanding and Embracing YOUR Author’s Journey From Concept to Manuscript to Publication." Eckel lives on the Chester River on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where she enjoys cooking up a storm for her friends and family.
