DESCRIPTION:

PowerPoint Ranger is an international award winning, unique ‘call to duty’, military adventure novel.

More than a decade after leaving the Army, retired signal corps captain Matt Jerome answers the call to enlist his critical skills in the surge of forces in Iraq in 2009. Overcoming the obstacles of age, weight, training, and physical and medical fitness to be deployed to a major headquarters in Baghdad, the captain becomes immersed in compiling reviews, analyses, and documentation of horrific scenes of war into full color, classified presentations.

A fictionalized memoir, PowerPoint Ranger is a story of determination, perseverance, and sacrifice, plunging you into an emotional behind-the-scenes look at being recalled to active duty to work in a highly stressful combat zone assignment. If you’ve ever been deployed and wondered what staff really accomplish at headquarters, or you just want a taste to the Joint Operations Center gristmill, here’s a story ripe for the big screen.
