Born and raised in the slight, bucolic town of Pawnee, Illinois, Adam Perschbacher has spent much of his life in ceaseless daydream. He studied visual art in college, and parlays his cleverness as a graphic designer in Chicago, but spends his free time in self-inflicted bewilderment. He loves to read and write, doodle and game, and generally lose control. He loves noisy crowds and arrant silence. Big ideas and careful plotting. Totality and detail. Whatever’s more compelling.
