What do you like most about working with books?
What I like most about working with books is the sense of discovery. New characters and worlds reshape how I see things. Books have always fed my curiosity, and I feel more connected to the world when I’m reading. It invites me to imagine, learn and feel all at once. In a way, I get to experience many lives beyond my own.
What are you reading now?
I’m currently reading The Only One Left by Riley Sager—a fantastic thriller that I won’t spoil. However, I will leave you with this memorable schoolyard chant about the main character, Lenora Hope:
At seventeen, Lenora Hope
Hung her sister with a rope
Stabbed her father with a knife
Took her mother’s happy life
“It wasn’t me.” Lenora said.
But she’s the only one not dead.
