D. Werkmeister is a retired FBI Agent with 21 years of street experience. He investigated white-collar crime, Italian organized crime, Eastern European organized crime and international money laundering. He was also an 8-year member of the Philadelphia FBI SWAT team. Prior to joining the FBI, he was a Marine Corps Officer. He is the proud father of two daughters. Volk is his first novel.
