New Flannery O’Connor Biopic, “Wildcat”

Wildcat, an indie film directed and co-written by Ethan Hawke and starring Maya Hawke, follows a young Flannery O’Connor — one of the nation’s most evocative, brilliant and ambitious writers — as she’s diagnosed with Lupus and reluctantly settles in with her mother (played by Laura Linney) at a dairy farm in the Jim Crow south.
