Lisa Marie Presley’s Upcoming Memoir, with Daughter Riley Keough as Collaborator
American singer and songwriter Lisa Marie Presley will posthumously release her memoir in October 2024, according to Random House. Presley began working on the memoir long before her death in January 2023, and asked her daughter, actress Riley Keough, to help her finish the book.
The memoir, which is currently untitled, will address Presley’s relationship with her father Elvis, her time spent at Graceland and her “complicated” relationship with her mother, Priscilla, her marriages to stars Nicolas Cage and Michael Jackson, and the loss of her son, Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020. The audiobook version of the memoir will be narrated by Keough, and include “never-before-heard recollections” in Presley’s voice.
