Secrets of the Penthouse Suite by R.R. Nastasi

What's It About?

In Sofia’s search for Mr. Right, she meets a seductive billionaire and the two dive into a lust-driven romance. But then, a glitch in her work finances leaves her questioning everything.

The hotel key was delivered to his office earlier, a service any billionaire might expect. They entered the lobby of the Dream Hotel and headed to the elevator. He hit the “P” for Penthouse Suite — again, he was, after all, a billionaire. He led her down the corridor and through the mahogany doors. They turned to each other and their eyes locked.

And so triggers the key storyline in R.R. Nastasi’s romantic, sensual and suspenseful debut novel, Secrets of the Penthouse Suite (Gatekeeper Press).

It begins as a fun romp through the New York singles scene, a la Sex in the City, among Sofia and her girlfriends to find Mr. Right, and segues into a financial thriller that forces our protagonist to examine her values, what she really wants and what is important in her life.

Lustful Affair & Financial Intrigue

Sexy, successful and fresh-out-of-a-bad-relationship single, Sofia La Scala, a fiscal affairs executive, carves out regularly scheduled happy hours with her best friend Chloe. But when Chloe can’t make it one night, Sofia meets a seductive billionaire, Alex Chambers. The two immediately connect and begin flirt-filled exchanges that heat up rapidly and eventually lead to a lust-driven romance in the Penthouse Suite of a high-end luxury hotel.

The relationship challenges Sofia’s norms and flings her into a world of fantasy, role-playing and lust, with her taking on the persona of everyone from a sexy cowgirl to a dominatrix. While Sofia is more than satisfied with her sexual romps with Alex, despite warnings from her girlfriends, she dreams of a more serious relationship.

It all seems to be too good to be true. Which, of course, means that it probably isn’t.

Trouble begins when a security breach takes place at Sofia’s company. How in the world does that have any relation to Sofia’s affair with Alex, which gets hotter by the page? Maybe it’s the fact that the IT/security expert brought in to troubleshoot the problem just happens to have Alex’s company listed on his resume. Simple coincidence, right? If that’s what you want to believe.

And then there’s a glitch in the finances at Sofia’s firm, which she and her colleagues can’t seem to rectify. What does it all mean? Is Alex connected? Is he being totally upfront with her?
