Hello, book lovers! Not all news is good to hear. The literary world said goodbye to both Anne Rice and bell hooks this week, and the outpour of love and admiration that followed was, of course, bittersweet. Although, it’s heartening to imagine that, a couple of centuries from now, future readers may share and celebrate their works much like we did this week in honor of Jane Austen’s birthday.
