This week on Heart to Heart, radiologist Mark E. Klein joined Dr. Nieca to discuss his new novel, Franklin Rock. Dr. Klein explains that as a doctor “you get addicted to helping people … to knowing you’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life,” and after writing two works of nonfiction, he decided his positive messages could reach a wider audience through fiction, because “everybody loves a story.”
In addition to talking about the novel, the doctors reflected on the many changes the medical world has seen over the past year, offering a positive outlook on healthcare after the pandemic.
