Shannon Baker is the author of the Kate Fox Mystery series as well as the Nora Abbott mystery series. She is currently a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, Western Writers of America, and many more. Baker moved seven times in less than ten years, to places like the Nebraska Sandhills to Flagstaff, Arizona. She believes that it has been helpful in writing great western settings.
