Big Birdman: Sesame Street’s spoof of the Oscar contender
We love a good parody and few do them better than everyone’s friends at Sesame Street. When we came across this parody of Birdman: The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance it was facepalm time — of course! But how would a kid’s show do a spoof of the edgiest of the Oscar contenders? Then we watched Sesame Street veteran Caroll Spinney in Big Birdman: The Unexpected Virtue of Orange Pants and fell in love. It’s so wonderful it deserves to be shown at the Oscars. Or at least have Big Bird do the presentation. But we won’t keep you a moment longer. Here is Big Birdman.
