That’s part of the pitch for Dr. Joe Schwarcz’s latest book,¬†Monkeys, Myths and Molecules: Separating Fact From Fiction, and the Science of Everyday Life (ECW Press, May 12, 2015). It’s about simple, entertaining enlightenment bolstered by real facts gleaned by real research. And that’s hard to find nowadays, despite living in the “information age.” Dr. Schwarcz is the Director of McGill University’s Office for Science and Society and he has received numerous awards for interpreting science in a digestible way for the public.
