Warm those chilled bones with homemade soup and bread

Let’s face it—there’s nothing we hate more about winter than the bone-chilling cold. And there’s nothing we love more about winter than the feeling we get when we warm those chilled bones with a hot, hearty meal. One of my favorite winter meals of all is the simplest: a steaming bowl of rich, homemade soup and a big, crusty loaf of bread slathered with butter (Shut up, arteries. It’s winter and I’m cold).
