Scott Brody is the author of the political thriller, The Org. He grew up in a political home in New York, where the older generations met, supported candidates, and argued about politics.

In the 60s, a teenage Scott joined in the political and cultural ferment of the time. He marched against the war in Vietnam, listened to Jean Shepherd on WOR and WBAI until all hours, read Ray Bradbury and Ramparts. The summer he graduated from high school, he went to Woodstock.

Scott Brody spent a few years in a political group similar to the one fictionally depicted in The Org. In 1976, after graduating college, he ran for Congress on the U.S. Labor Party. After that, he got into broadcasting — a career he still pursues, managing radio stations in Southern California and New England.

Scott is happily married, has a daughter and two sons, and is the proud grandfather of a baby boy. He resides with his wife, Judy,  in Southern California.

TESTIMONIALS

“Very well done. Good story with interesting characters and plot tension. Hope we get a sequel. Keep up the good work.”
—Kathryn Bailey on Amazon

“After the first chapter pulls you in, a look at the mechanisms and developing framework of a cult, difficult to realize from within, peels back this fast-paced tale laden with causes and concerns and the eventual recognition of the leaders’ mind-map. Interesting parallels with today’s political scene make you sit up and take notice. Good read.”
—F.L. Gold Ph.D. on Amazon

“An exciting read. Gets you thinking about the environment and the political state of affairs we have today. Well-written and a pretty quick read, too. Pages kept turning quickly!!”
