BookTrib is partnering with Bookish to bring you more great contentOur friends at Bookish, we got really excited about the new Google Arts & Culture app that will tell you which famous works of art you look most like. Of course, like the nerds that we are, we had to see what happened when they tried it on some of your favorite book covers. Behold the results!

Catalia Fisa looks like the queen she is. She also looks like the beautiful subject of Abe Orobia’s painting.

Harry doesn’t even have to drink any Polyjuice Potion for us to see the resemblance here.

Camellia Beauregard looks like the belle of the ball, as well as reminding us of Winslow Homer’s work.

If you ask us, Eugenia Snowe could easily pass as Rex Woods’ “Female Equestrian with Dalmation.”

 width=

Karl Ove Knausgaard and the subject of Herman van Vollenhoven’s painting have mastered the same look of withering disapproval.

We love that Jennifer Weiner and Pvt. Anne Bodian are rocking such similar haircuts.

Monty and Btoy are proof: Eyebrows can be very expressive.

The piercing look Fei is giving on the cover of Soundless is one to remember.

We found Zinzi’s long-lost twin sister in one of Rahmaan Statik’s works of art.

 width=

We see a definite likeness between Desi Lee and the girl in Georgette Chen’s “Family Portrait.”

 width=

Amanda Hardy has beautiful blue eyes, just like the woman in Btoy’s painting.

 width=

Darrian’s future is so bright, he just might need those shades.

 width=

Both Jane Montjoy and the subject of Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s painting look like they’re hatching a plan.

You’re good, Google.

Bookish

It is a truth universally acknowledged that an avid reader in possession of a good book must be in want of another. That, dear reader, is where Bookish comes in. Bookish is made up of a team of readers who drag their noses from in between the pages of books to sit in front of a screen and further explore the literary worlds that we long to live in. Within our webpages you’ll find everything from emotional GIF reviews to serious essays on genre dynamics, from author interviews to book recommendations, from listicles to seasonal previews. Our goal is to give readers more information about the books, authors, and genres that they love while also introducing them to new titles, debut writers, and genres they never thought they’d read. From the casual reader to the one who documents each and every book read in a color-coordinated spreadsheet, we pride ourselves on having something for all readers. Our passion will not be repressed, so we hope that you allow us to share our great love of reading with you.
