Entertainment Weekly just revealed that Emmy-nominated actress Kathryn Hahn is releasing a new book, My Wish for You. The news of the book, which is illustrated by Brigette Barrager, is so new that only EW has a picture of the cover. Published by Scholastic, EW says, “The book is fashioned as an honest, heartfelt reminder to girls at every age and every stage of the beauty and strength that resides inside each of them. It’s a poignant, encouraging reminder to mothers, daughters, and friends of the importance of simply being yourself.”
Inspired by her own child, Hahn wanted to produce something that built on the bold displays of womanhood and femininity that can be found in her acting work. Hahn is known for her work on the Amazon series Transparent, and I Love Dick. This is Hahn’s first book.
The cover of My Wish for You and Hahn’s full interview can be found on Entertainment weekly’s site.
