Clinical social worker Jeffrey Zeizel was running the Boston Marathon in 2013 when bombs went off near the finish line. It was then that Zeizel had to begin using his coping methods he’s taught so many times before and psychologically help those who didn’t know how to process the moment, in order to get through the marathon. Here, Zeizel tells Spartan Up’s Joe De Sena, founder and CEO of Spartan Race, about what he learned and how vital resilience is almost every situation.
