Katherine Neville talks about her favorite passion – libraries!
Katherine Neville was honored to become the first author ever invited onto the Board of the Smithsonian Libraries in Washington, DC, where I’ve served for six years. Few people know that they have the largest museum library system in the world – all of those books belonging to us, the American people – with 21 libraries in the various museums all the way from the Cooper-Hewitt in Manhattan to the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama, and in DC, including libraries in the national museums of Air and Space, American History, Natural History, and American Indian.
