Kate Hudson’s ‘Pretty Happy’ Raises Body Image Awareness

kate-hudson-435Actress Kate Hudson has been in the spotlight her entire life but never truly felt confident. Now, after two children, Hudson is finally feeling comfortable in her own skin and sharing how important it is to have body image awareness. “It’s never too late to start that process of enjoying what it feels like to feel strong,” Hudson tells ABC News.

Not only has Hudson discovered true happiness but she’s sharing what she’s learned over the years in her new book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body (Dey Street Books, February 16, 2016).

“It takes a lot of work,” Hudson shares with ABC News. “For me, it’s more about how do you motivate women to want that to be a part of their lifestyle, the actual work part, because it is a discipline.”
