10 days in a Madhouse follows the true story of legendary reporter Nellie Bly as she feigns insanity in order to infiltrate a notorious women’s insane asylum in New York City, where she lives for ten torturous days. Bly’s story is ultimately one of triumph. Her courage saved thousands of lives, and her name will live on in history as an American hero, a trailblazer journalist, and one of the original feminists who brought gender equality issues to the forefront of media. Life Magazine recently named Bly as one of 100 Women Who Changed The World.
