Goosebumps Movie Trailer Makes Adults Weak at the Knees

My family moved around a lot when I was a kid. As such, I didn’t keep too many possessions. Two things that were absolutely essential for me, though, were a comforter and a set of books.  But not just any comforter and set of books. A Goosebumps comforter and set of books.

No lie, I kept that comforter until high school, only abandoning it when I simply couldn’t fit beneath it anymore. The books are with me to this day and every once in a while I still crack one open and dive into the wonderful mind of R.L. Stine.

A few weeks ago, I was thrilled to find that my beloved series is making a return to the big screen in an upcoming full-length film, starring Jack Black. And then, last night, the Goosebumps Twitter account let us all know that all we had to do to unlock the brand new trailer was collectively retweet a request for it. And it worked

 

Now that you know about my comforter background, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how excited I am about this film. I was captivated for every single second of that trailer. But I’m not the only one. As soon as I saw the trailer, I ran over to our own resident Bookish Diva, who geeked out over meeting R.L. Stine last year.
