I’m on page 192 of These Things Hidden. I don’t usually like to read fiction, but this book is definitely holding my interest. In my opinion, it is well written, with no phrases such as ”the beautiful, gourgeous, luxurious sunset was fading away in the dark, forlorn woods on the warm, well-received spring evening.” I hate reading books like that!

I have read this book, and I loved it. I am sooooo curious as to who really committed these murders. After I read it, I got on the internet and did some research, but I am still so torn as to what is the truth. Wonder if the The Vidocq Society has ever investigated this case?

  I checked this society out and I wonder too. Would be a perfect case for them to look into. It seemed that every week someone new was accused of the crime. Even Mario Spezi, a journalist working with Preston, was thrown in jail as a possible suspect.
